Coldplay are a British rock band. The group is comprised of four members: Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin. The band has acheived massive commercial success on an international scale as well as considerable critical success.

The band have collected a host of awards, including Grammies for Record of the Year, Best Rock Album, Best Alternative Music Album, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal; Billboard Music Awards for Top Rock Artist, Top Alternative Artist, Top Rock Album, and Top Alternative Album; and MTV Video Music Awards for Best Rock Video and Best Art Direction.

Coldplay's most recent album, Mylo Xyloto, was released in 2011.
